Privacy Policy

Class2Questions collects only the files you voluntarily upload (PDF, PPTX, DOCX, TXT) and the course or lecture titles you enter. We do not collect names, email addresses, or payment information. No account creation is required.

Uploaded lecture content is sent to our AI provider (OpenRouter) solely to generate exam questions. Your content is not stored permanently — lecture text is saved in our database only to serve your question-generation session and is associated with no personal identity.

Course and lecture data you create is retained in our Neon Postgres database until you delete it. You can remove any course at any time from the Courses page, which permanently deletes all associated lectures, questions, and flashcards.

We use OpenRouter to route AI requests to language models. Please review OpenRouter's privacy policy at openrouter.ai for details on how they handle API content. We use Neon for managed Postgres hosting — your database content is stored in their secure cloud infrastructure.

Class2Questions does not use tracking cookies, analytics scripts, or advertising networks. The only browser storage used is for the local UI state (e.g. which answers you have revealed on the landing page), which is cleared when you close the tab.

All data is transmitted over HTTPS. Database connections use TLS. We apply industry-standard security practices, but no system is perfectly secure — avoid uploading files containing sensitive personal or confidential information.

We may update this policy as the product evolves. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance.
